Old Ponies of PI

Ever wondered what the ponies looked like in the old PI? Well, wonder no more! And I have to take the time to get a little nostalgic here. VeeZ did the first drawings for the site, and yeah, they might not be 2-D or 3-D, but there was something about them flat little ponies that grabbed your heart and hung on! I remember when I first saw the new pony drawings - and yes, they were fantastic - for new ponies - but I wanted to keep all my old ponies looking just like they did. At first, it felt like all my friends had face reconstruction and I didn't know any of them anymore. As time has past, I have fallen in love with Luna's drawings, but there are days, like now, that I just "long" for the familiarity of my old pals. The ponies, adult and baby on left are female - on the right - male. It was easy to tell them apart in the old PI. All females faced one way, all males faced the other. That's why you see some of my males in PI NG and PONG named with the wrong gender name!! LOL
